Jewish Federation of Ottawa
Through their collaborative community planning process and their Annual Campaign, the Federation raises and allocates funds to provide life-saving, life-changing and life-enhancing experiences for Jews in Ottawa and around the globe.
The Federation works to translate Jewish values into social action through four pillars: building, educating, helping and supporting.
Jewish Community Centre
Ottawa’s Jewish community centre is truly the centre of the community’s life. Whether for sports leagues, classes, community events, or a bite to eat, there is always a reason to be going to the Soloway Jewish Community Centre. The Sephardi Association of Ottawa seeks to create a unified Sephardic community that preserves and promotes Sephardi traditions and spiritual practice. We strive to represent all those of Sephardi originresiding in the Ottawa region. The SAO holds a number of activities throughout the year including High Holiday services, Shabbatons, Mimouna celebration, as well as Chanukah and Purim parties. In addition, we organize events commemorating and celebrating Sephardi history and culture, including the annual commemoration of the Jewish Exodus from Arab Lands.
